Discounts Issue?

Hello all,

 

I'm having a strange issue to do with discounts that I hope someone can help me with.

 

I want to offer discounts on Cushion Covers in my shop (POS and Online Store):

 

2 for £40

3 for £60

 

I have these set up with the exact quantity discount rule to take £2 off each item:

So far so good. But then I also have discounts on other products, for example Coasters - 4 for £10 (exact quantity discount again, £0.50 off each item). When I add both 3 Cushion Covers and 4 Coasters to a transaction at the same time, this should total £70 with all the discounts applied.

 

But it is removing one of the Cushion Covers from the discount, apparently reverting them to the 2 for £40 discount instead and leaving one at full price, and charging £72:

This is happening with other discounts too, only when combined with the 3x Cushion Covers. Not sure if I'm missing something here or if it's a bug, but any help/advice/insight anyone might be able to offer would be greatly appreciated!

Hi there @egs1000.. Can you post screen shots of the Cushion Cover discount rule -- all screens/pages of it?

 

Also, a question -- do you have any discount rules that have "maximum discount" specified?

@egs1000 thanks for that.  After reviewing all of the screen shots you provided, I can only determine that this looks like a definite bug.  That means that I need to tag the Square Community moderators and ask one of them to pass this on to the product team for review.  

 

That being said, it might be quicker for you to contact customer support yourself and open a trouble ticket.  If you do that, you can refer to this post in the Community for them to view and add to that ticket.  I had to do something like this a few months ago and the support person found my post and used it to help me solve my issue.
