Disable pick up for in-person ordering through Square Online.

The title of this thread has been edited by a Square Moderator from the original: Square showing "pick up time available" at check out. I cannot shut this off. How do I do this?

 

I sell water and soda bottles. I made 2 items: water and soda. I want people to scan a QR code on their phone, go thru checkout and pay. I have all shipping shut off and I set the items to 'digital' and at check out on the screen where they put the cc # at the top in an orange box it says "Your Order Will Be Ready On" under that "pick up location" and then gives a day 3 days in the future. How can I shut the off. Getting in touch with Square customer service is impossible.

Looks like there was a duplicated post regarding this same issue, so I went ahead and merged the two posts together. In the future, pleas post only once per topic, as this helps us be more efficient when replying to posts. 

 

Sorry to hear you are experiencing issues. 

Sounds like you could benefit from our QR code ordering feature. You can learn more about it here.

For this to work as intended, you'll need to list your items under the correct type. 

Right now, because you have pick up enabled, the system is showing your customers a pick up time and location according to your settings, but this is not needed with QR code ordering.
