Customer Display - Payment Prompt

In our cafe we find that customers are constantly trying to tap their card on the customer display before the sale is completed. Most often while we're asking for their name to put on the bill or assigning their table.

 

The display provides information in that part of the process before the tap light indicator is visible that seems to confuse customers, and we constantly have to ask them to wait a moment and then instruct them that it will light up at the bottom.

We originally had Tyro, so constantly telling customers to "tap on the side".

Moved to Square readers - "tap the green dot"

Bought Square registers, now its "please wait" followed by "tap the flashing light"

it doesn't matter how obvious it is where to tap the response is "oh, they are all different aren't they"
