Custom Subscription Plan

Has anyone had any experience setting up a custom subscription plan with Square? On their website, they offer a “Build a bespoke plan that meets the complexity of your operations.” I’m starting a cafe and will be using the new kiosk system. I believe the premium restaurant plan would be suitable for me since it includes the kiosk software without additional fees. However, I don’t require all the extra features that are primarily designed for full-service restaurants and similar establishments. Thanks!

Right now, Square usually only offers custom pricing for the Square for Restaurants Premium plan for businesses that process more than $250,000 in card payments per yearTo learn more, you can contact Square's sales team. 
 
Here are the 3 pricing plans Square offers for the Restaurants POS: 
 
  • FreeIncludes unlimited devices and locations, and you only pay processing fees
  • PlusIncludes advanced features like course management, live sales reporting, and 24/7 support
  • PremiumOffers custom pricing based on your business needs, such as payment volume and average transaction size
How to get custom pricing 
 
  1. Contact Square's sales team
  2. Provide information about your business, including your payment volume and average transaction size
  3. Square will work with you to create a custom pricing structure

Hi, thanks for the info! Looks like we will just go with the Square for Restaurants Premium plan, even though we don't need everything. I was wondering if you have any more info on printing sticky label receipts for drinks, and it was can change sizing/format. I can't find any images, or examples of this online. We are trying to find some small label we can put on each drink, instead of a long typical receipt. Thanks!

You’ll need a compatible sticky label printer like the Star Micronics TSP654IISK.

 

To set this up:
1️⃣ Go to your Square Point of Sale app (or restaurants app).
2️⃣ Navigate to Settings > Printers and select your label printer.
3️⃣ Adjust the receipt format under Printer Settings to ensure the correct details are printed.

 

On compatible iOS devices using Square Reader, you have the ability to change paper roll size. To do so from the Square Point of Sale app:

  1. Tap ≡ More > Settings.

  2. Tap Hardware and select the connected printer. 

  3. Under Printer settings > Paper size, tap Change.

Currently, customization options for label size and format are limited, but you can adjust certain settings depending on the printer model.
