Cannot disable item grouping on order tickets

we have unsuccessfully been trying to disable the item grouping feature in the kitchen printer profile. The printer profile shows this feature as disabled, but tickets continue to print as grouped items.

 

we have deleted and re-created the printer profiles. Powered off the printers and the POS stations. Nothing fixes the problem

 

I see that other users have the same problem, and none of the solutions provided by customer support were acknowledged to work. Please get this feature fixed.

@LWB25 Are you using the KDS to print tickets?  or are they printing to a kitchen printer straight from the pos?

Our staff uses iPads to send orders directly to a kitchen printer.

As others have mentioned, grouping items causes frequent errors in the kitchen. This has been an ongoing problem. We keep hoping a software update will resolve the issue but it’s been an ongoing issue for nearly a year.

@LWB25 I know you will probably call me crazy, but have you updated to the latest iOS, and then go into the app store, and go into the app where you would install it, and make sure it doesn't say update?  apple is bad about an app having an update but it pushes it when it wants to

I will check but I’m aware that our Square app had a major update about a week ago and it didn’t fix this issue.

 

Our staff has been complaining about other new issues in the POS system as a result of the update.
