@Hackettsorchard I am not sure about how apps behave from the app store with iOS when on a macbook. I would assume it "might", but it is not a supported pos app solution...but
You can use any pc with a connected terminal to use square:

The virtual terminal works great in your web browser when you pair it with the forward facing terminal to finalize payments. I think this might solve your problems very easily.
