Can I still use square for retail without subscribing

I have a retail business and was just asked to subscribe to square retail. I have been using it already. I don’t need any of the services except the actual POS. Do Still need to subscribe for $60 a month even if I don’t need any of those services offered?

No, you do not need to subscribe to the Retail package to use the POS.  To discontinue using it, from your PC Dashboard, navigate > Account & Settings > Business > Pricing & Subscriptions.  Your Retail subscription (along with any other subscriptions you have) will show up on that screen and you can deactivate your subscription from there.
