Bulk Edit Low Stock Alert

Is there a way to Bulk Edit  the " Low stock Alert" number from my dashboard. Once I filter down and select the relevant Products I see loads of attributes which I can edit quickly but no option to edit the low stock number from that screen. We are a large retailer and have over 15k SKU's so doing this one by one is too time consuming. I would imagine this is a fairly easy fix for the development team.

Hi @Ameer7 👋

The only way to bulk edit the stock alerts is by exporting your item library to an Excel sheet, changing the alert (Y/N) and then reimporting your library.

You can find the steps outlined here.

Exporting the library and re importing adds all my products back as a variation and I end up with multiple product varations  how can I avoid this?

Hmmm, we did release some updates in August I believe @Ameer7 that should help prevent common errors like that.

We do have some tips here that may have impacted your imports:

  1. Make sure you’re using your item library file from your online Square Dashboard. To access it, visit Items & Orders > Items > Actions > Import Library and select your option > click Next > Download your item library. If this is your first time importing a new list of items, select Download our template.
  2. Be sure to save the file as a .xlsx or .csv. The item import tool won’t work with XLS, XLSM or any other file type.
  3. When editing the template, don’t change any information in the Token column or delete any empty columns.
  4. Don’t change the file name.
  5. Remove any commas from the text you’ve added to the file (you can add them back to your item names, descriptions, or modifiers once they’ve been imported to your library).
  6. Double-check that all of your items have unique names.

And there are some additional troubleshooting steps here
