Auto multiplying items whilst ordering & for kitchen printing.

I am wondering if there is a way to automatically multiply the total item number whilst ordering on Square Restaurants?

For example, if I have a table that order multiple plates of the same item, the open order and kitchen printout will display each item individually in a long list and only auto add the total number if it was the last thing added to the bill.

Currently we have 

1 x Wedges

1 x Cockles 

1 x Wedges

1 x Cockles

1 x Meatballs etc..

Ideally, we would have

2 x Wedges
2 x Cockles

1 x Meatballs

I am sure the basic Square POS did this, have I missed a trick somewhere!?

Short answer, no. Long answer is no it’s annoying isn’t it! 😂

I use the KDS & online orders, That shows everyone in the order they put it in their cart so might have the same item at the top & bottom of the ticket too.
