Anyone here a retail with service business?

Wondering if there are any retailers who also provide services that use Square.  We are a full service fur coat boutique.  We sell fur coats and provide storage, cleaning, repairs and restyles. 

We're really a hybrid of retail sales and services. Interested to see how other retail/service businesses use Square

We are a hybrid store too, Manufacturing, Retail Sales, Wholesale Accounts, and Custom Designed candles.  So for our Custom Wedding candles we have standard fee for the Sized then additional costs for accessories or other items.  We have our custom services set up based on options then, if the customer changes things, we have added costs from their original design.  Now if we do not have to start over than the fee may not be charged.  Example, Someone asks for a custom Red candle with Green Roses, We do this then they ask for the custom candle to Be green and the roses to be red.  Well we have to charge because the Custom RED candle can not be reused or sold, But the Green to Red Roses could easily be removed and no extra charges.    Some of our custom candles are just that, and when we ring up the sale for Square we charge for a custom candle and then manually enter the agreed upon charge.  The customer commissioned us to do a one off candle, we gave them the price which is agreed on and we just enter that price for that item and let Square add tax if required.  To do this we have an Item labeled Custom Candle.  The item is setup with Sales Tax but no Price, since we enter it at the time the order is placed.  For our custom candle payment is due before the item is finished because too many people just do not come back to pay or pick it up and we have been stuck with unsellable items.
