A better search function for my Weebly website

My website https://www.clearwine.co.uk/ on Weebly lists 50 wines for sale by e-commerce and delivery by our own shipping agent.  We want to expand the number of items for sale and speed up selection by improving the site's navigation. In 2021 we found that categories was the way to do this was set up with tiles on the Homepage. Anyone would say this is not too flexible and looks clunky but it was okay to get started. With a larger website ideally I would like a side pane where the user can experience a better search function (e.g. red or white, Australia or Italy, Riesling or Merlot aka wine type, country, variety). Rather than switch to another provider to create a whole new website, can Weebly/Square offer a means to make this happen?  I'm just looking at https://www.laithwaites.co.uk/wine for inspiration.

Hi @Albioncb, I would take a look at Sqaure Online. It has more functionality along the lines of what you want. One particualr function is the mega menus, which although could do with some feature improvements I think would be of benefit to a large catalogue for imprved searching. You appear to have all your material in place from images to descriptions, which can sometimes be the big chunk of effort to get ready for a website, so I think the transition will be easier than you think. I would recommend just having a play with Square Online set up an account, pop a couple of products on add a few pictures to the homepage and get a feel for its capabilites, I think it will do the job for you, ticking many boxes, including the filtering in the side bar and sort options. We use mega menus and filter and sort in the sidebar. www.cocochemistry.co.uk
