"Only a few left!" appears when only 1 variation is low in stock

Configure a product with a few variations. Set the stock of 2 of the variations to something greater than 3 (5, or 10 perhaps) then set the remaining variation with a stock of 1.

The online store product grid view (at least the featured items section) will show the item with the notice "Only a few left!" even though that's not accurate there's many of the product left; only *some* variations have only a few left.

@Kassi_ this would be great if it can be fixed!  I have over 200 items available for a product, but because one of my variations has only 3 left, the item displays as "Only a few left!".  Basing the "Only a few left!" tag on the total product inventory rather than a single variation would be awesome.  Thanks for passing this along!

I have the same problem.  An item comes in several sizes, and is in good supply, but when ONE size goes below 3, the item shows "Only a Few Left".

How can we find out when this has been fixed?

Hi there, @BruceW - thanks for reaching out here on the Seller Community and checking in on this thread. I tested this function out on my proprietary site, and it looks like this functionality is set for the time being. Having multiple variations of a specific item, specifically when a variation is in lower stock, will cause the entire item to appear with the "Only a Few Left" notification.

We realize there is room for improvement here. In that vein, like Kassi mentioned above, I am once again going to flag this over to our Product Teams for visibility. Should any updates comes down the pipeline, we will reach back out to everyone here and notify broadly.

Thanks again!
