"New" Categories integration... Navbar links Category pages no longer display correctly on website.

Backstory: I just integrated my categories from my square site to the dasboard.

When clicking the Navbar links to categories that have only subcategories and no products used to display those subcategories properly as shown below:

Now when clicking the same link in my dashboard it shows:

Hi there, @nicholasfeigen,

We'd like to take a closer look into this for you. Can you please provide the link to your site as well as the pages that are not directing to the right area? I look forward to hearing back from you!

This is a complex issue, so it'd would probably be best to call me so I can explain but I'll give some more insight here:

If you look at my images shared above you'll see the URL of the page is www.wolframrc.com

Importantly you'll see the full URL of the featured brand category page as it'd been was

https://www.wolframrc.com/shop/featured-brands/65

but now when selecting the same category in site editor it changes the target link to

https://www.wolframrc.com/shop/featured-brands/P3FIJJ5I7Z332TX2YH6AUAK4

This has started since I allowed square to consolidate my categories across square online and square dashboard.

I have created a quick TEMPORARY fix by linking to all of the other categories as an "external link" and using the older-style category URL.   The reason this is not going to work as a permanent fix is that it makes it impossible for me to use the "Automatically Linked subcategories" feature in square sites editor (shown below)
