"Add Featured Items" search not working

When I go to add an item to a page I go to "Add Featured Items" and then search my item library by the name of item. The search results do not refine my search, I have to "Load More" over and over to find the item (It should be at the top of the list). I reported to Square and they said it was a possible bug and couldn't tell me when it would be fixed. Anyone else having the same issue?

Hi Alanah,

I did report this to the engineering team. Was told it was a bug but no idea when it would be addressed. This affects my daily operations and is a total pain. Would be nice to receive an update when the problem would be fixed or a work around (still broken as of 10/14/2021)

What internet browser are you using when you try this? Could you give Google Chrome a try, if you aren't using it already?

This sounds like a bug our engineering team is looking into. 

 

There is a workaround available to help. Try searching for the item by name instead of letting the system preload any suggestions. 

 

Give that a try and let me know if it does the trick.

I too, am having the same issues. It appears to not be working or I'm doing something incorrectly. I'm surprised this issue still exists after this much time, Rinky dink operation? Just seems odd to have this issue this long.

This isn't an ongoing issue, and it has been addressed in the past for other Sellers (this isn't something widespread). Since this happens individually (per account or site), my recommendation is to reach out to our support team for them to take a closer look into your account and situation. They can be reached at 855-700-6000 between 6 am - 6 pm Pacific Time Monday-Friday. If you call outside of these hours, you will be required to enter your Customer Code to validate your account.
