I'm reaching out with a question regarding selling digital products using SquareUp's payment processing or payment links. Specifically, I'm interested in selling digital goods such as digital gift cards and game keys, and I'd like to know if SquareUp supports transactions for digital products.

Additionally, I'm from Algeria, and I understand that Algeria may not be supported by SquareUp. In case Algeria is not supported, I'd like to inquire about the necessary documents and information required to open a SquareUp account and get verified as a US resident.

Could you please provide guidance on the following:

1. Is it possible to sell digital products using SquareUp's payment processing or payment links?
2. If Algeria is not supported, what are the required documents and information needed to open a SquareUp account and get verified as a US resident?

Hi there, @youcefbenkhadda - Thank you for reaching out. Happy to provide you with some more information on Square's international availability.

Card payment acceptance with the Square app is currently available in the US, Canada, Australia, Japan, the United Kingdom, Republic of Ireland, France and Spain. We currently don’t support payment card processing outside these countries or in U.S. territories. For more information, please see this article from our Support Center.

You would not be able to create a US Square Account if you are located in a non-US country. Cross-border card payments are unsupported. This means that card transactions attempted outside of the country where you activated your Square account can’t be processed with Square.
