online ordering lunch menu vs dinner menu

Is there a way to turn off specific items on a menu? Or create 2 different menus, say a lunch menu and a dinner menu to display at certaiin times of the day. I have items for lunch that we only sell until 2:30 so I need to turn those items off after that time. Is that possible or has anyone come up with a work around?

Hey @Rizzo

On Square Online you can make use of Time Based Categories. Using this feature will disable the items that are not available at dinner time or lunch time.

From your Square Online Overview page, go to Items > Categories. Select an existing category to edit or click Add Category to create a new one.

I hope this information is helpful!

We use DoorDash and it’s integrated into our square POS. We’d like to start serving breakfast soon. How do we go about making  breakfast food not available after 11am and lunch/dinner not available before 11am?
