my boxes only fit 6 items, if a customer orders 12 items. it going into 2 different boxes. so I need to generate 2 shipping labels ? how can I do that?
Great question @rukabscreamery.
As long as you set the maximum quantity it will charge your customer based on the items in the cart. You can set this up by heading over to your Square Online Editor under Shipping Settings > Advance.
Here you will need to set the quantity to 6 and purchase the label. You will then need to open the order back up, create the shipping label and purchase the second label.
Let me know if you have any other questions.

I have the max # to 6 but it still creates one shipping label. please help!
Hey @rukabscreamery.
Sorry for the confusion. Log into your Square Online Store and head over to Orders > Order Number> Create Shipping Label page, make sure to change the quantity of “Items in shipment” before you choose your box size and courier service. Ex: 6 of 12.
Once you purchase the label, return to > Orders Overview page > click on the order once more, here you should see the remaining items available and the option to purchase a second label. Repeat these steps if you have 3, 4, or more boxes.
Hope this helps!
