how to add gift options to checkout

I had a customer e-mail asking about a space to leave a gift message. I realized I only have a space for notes to me. Is there a way to add a place for a gift message and to check if it is a gift? This would keep me from sending a receipt in something that wasn't meant to have it.

HI, if on a free plan you would need to upgrade for Gift Options.  You can find the Upgrade option at Online Dashboard, Settings, Item Settings, scroll down to Upgrade For Gift Options.

HI, hopefully this will help, its the top portion of the page.  Online Dashboard, Settings, Item Settings, scroll down to Gift Options.
