how do i allow my customers to make an order?

ive created my website and has been published and seems lovely! but some how when i log onto the website as a 'customer', it says that 'the store is not yet accepting payments' and there is no cart on my page, but when setting up i cannot find a way to allow this. some one please help!!!

Hi @Barbiedollz_bea, thanks for your post! Like @MJD suggest, one thing to check is that you have connected a bank account to Square. If you have linked a bank account, please also check the following to make sure they've been setup correctly:

If everything has been set up and your still cannot take payments, I'd recommend reaching out to our Support team for further assistance. 

 

Here are the steps to contact Square Support by phone or by email:

  1. Go to https://squareup.com/help/gb/en/contact 
  2. Select your topic or just click Other > I don’t see my issue, it’ll give you the option to either call or email in!

The phone number for Square Support is 0800 098 8008. The Square Support Team is available by phone Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm.

The most common is that the checkout is set to 'off' - but unfortunately there are quite a few reasons this could happen. 

First off - double check under settings, checkout to make sure that's switched to on. If it is, it's probably worth getting in touch with support (0[Redacted]) for the fastest resolution.
