I want to be able to apply a sale price to certain variations of my items only - not to all variations. Right now if I add a 20% discount to an item it is to the item and applied to all variations. Is there any way to do what I'm looking for?
My specific use case is I'm a ceramics supply store and my vendor discontinued several varieties of dry glazes but is continuing to offer the liquid versions. I have "dry" and "pint" set up as variations for each color and only want to offer a sale price on the "dry" variation - any help would be appreciated!
Hi there, @MOCS,
This is not an option currently, however, we totally see how this feature would be valuable for businesses like yours. We actually recommend posting this on our Ideate board where Sellers like you post ideas and can vote on them.

Hi... it has been a year since this post. Is it possible to create sales based on variation yet?
Hi @bbsd 👋 Thanks for following up.
If I'm understanding your question correctly, yes, you should be able to set the sale price per variation from the Square Online dashboard under Items > Site Items > Edit Item.
It looks like you have this setup for Tea Dust but I also see you have not published the website in 10 months. Is there a different item that is not showing the correct sale price when a specific version is selected?
Thanks, and I'll be on the lookout for your response.
