I created an event item and made it visible to my online store. When I go to my online store to view the event, it is there, but it is not available to purchase (the "add to cart" button is grayed out and says "not available" instead). I can't figure out what settings to change on the back end to make this event available for purchase. Any ideas?

That is a link to the event item. I wanted to add some screenshots but I keep getting a message that says I don't have permission to upload images .
HI, thank you for the link. Without seeing the back end it is hard to tell what may be affecting the listing. It looks correct.
BTW not related, noticed you are food based. There is a Menu Format available for your store.
ex. Menu Format
I know there's a menu feature, the functionality testing I'm doing is not for a restaurant though. I'm testing using an event as a product for something that is a pre-order with a very specific pick-up window. Thanks for the suggestion though.
Do you have any suggestions for what I should troubleshoot to figure out why this product is showing up in my store but isn't available for purchase?
