If you are trying to search for and select a Weebly subdomain, and you see it marked as "unavailable, it means that the name is already assigned to a different website.
OR, it's possible that your site was assigned to that subdomain before connecting a custom domain. Can you please confirm the subdomain you are wanting to use? I can let you know if it is already taken by someone else, or if it is currently assigned to your site already.
