I dont see anywhere in the website builder to add the SKU number to the page of the product. The Square item library stores the SKU number for inventory purposes but this identifier is not visible on the website. Some customers like to be assure what they are looking at is the correct SKU. If it is not visible, how are they assured its correct?
Hi @shanebu,
If you're looking to publicly display SKUs for your items for an online store, you'll need to add them to either the item's title or description. At the moment there's no publicly visible field that will show an item's SKU within its online listing.
If you can give us an example of how you'd use this in your business, and what your customer expectations are, I'd be happy to pass your feedback on as a potential use-case for this feature.
Hi Seamus
Thanks for replying
If Square wants to offer a real alternative to Wordpress and Woocommerce, a SKU display in the item listing should be standard
