With no public holidays and normal next day transfers, I am wondering why this weekend all my balances are being withheld for payment for up to three days? According to my system payments from Sept 1 & 2 wont be made until the 4th.
Yes, we realised this morning that our Friday funds (that would normally go in Saturday) were not transferred. Saturday's were transferred today, but we still haven't received Friday's.

I'm sorry to hear both of your transfers were delayed over the weekend!
It appears that you may have been affected by the planned maintenance that took place over the weekend, causing all transfers to fail on Saturday. Initially, our banking partner had indicated that only Instant Transfers would be affected within the outage period (2.00 PM - 4.00 PM on Saturday), but we have since received reports this morning suggesting that any transfer on Saturday, September 2nd, may not have gone through successfully.
Rest assured, failed transfers from Saturday will be automatically processed and included in today's transfers. You can view status updates via issquareup.com.
