Bug report: Coupon code appears even when minimum spend is NOT met

Coupon codes will incorrectly show up on a customer's order even when minimum spend requirements haven't been met. A coupon should be erroring out if it hasn't met all the conditions I set up ,right? For example, if I set up a discount code with a minimum spend a customer can still add it to their order without getting an error. Whilst the discount appears as 0%, it should instead prompt the customer there's been an error if the conditions I set up aren't met. If this bug isn't resolved, it means confused customers who haven't met the spend conditions will complain about why the discount is $0 when they still see the code being added to their order.

 

I've reported this bug to square support over chat, but they're reporting it's a feature request? Can we please get this fixed. Thanks!

Thanks for bringing this to our attention, @Madame_and_Yves. Would you be able to share a link to your site, and a coupon you're seeing this issue with so I can do some testing from my end? I'll keep an eye out for your reply.
