Why are my items not syncing to my online store?

THIS IS MY "WOAHH DID I REALLY SWITCH TO SQUARE".....When I pay all this money and simple features that you have to pay extra for DO NOT WORK.

As a fellow seller, I’d be glad to help as much as possible. Can you explain the issue a little more?

 

Is this a new issue or have you just experienced it?

 

Is it one product or all products?

By syncing, do you mean make the product Visible on your site or are properties like Quantity not syncing?

 

Can you walk me through your current workflow to create an item and post it to your website?

Feel free to share your website URL. 

Hopefully we can get you up and running as quickly as possible.

That's great that they recognize there is a problem with the hosting itself but the problem hasn't been resolved and is still not working as it should. I add the product to the website and when I go to add a feature item section and select custom so I can select the products I want in the feature it only shows Items that were synced from MARCH. The new items that have been added to the item library are not on there. This is a huge problem and should be compensated for the product not working correctly. I literally switched from using wordpress with woocomerce so that my stress levels would be less.

The team continues working hard on addressing the syncing issues. While they fully address the situation, they have shared a few action items that may help significantly reduce the syncing time.

 

1. Go to Account & Settings > My Business > Locations. Is the location type Mobile?
  • If so, change it to Physical.
2. From Account & Settings > My Business > Locations, does every location have business hours, an email, and a phone number?
  • If not, complete all fields with valid info.
3. Go to Items > Item Library. Are there two or more items with the same name?
  • If so, delete or rename all duplicate items.
4. Go to Items > Categories. Are there two or more items with the same name?
  • If so, delete or rename all duplicate items.

Please let me know if your problems persists after completing these workaround steps. I know this isn't the ideal solution but wanted to share it here with you.

I have changed to a physical address but I don't want people coming to my home.  Also, I don't have set hours since I mainly do popups and those are random days and times.

 

Please send other suggestions

I am having the same problem since they changed the site.  I used to have all my items with inventory show up.  Now I have items with no inventory on the site, items that are retired and not coming back while newly added items are not even listed.  This is a problem when customers try to purchase and get frustrated over not being able to get their first, second or even third choice.  I have ended up exporting inventory and sending it to customers instead of using the website.

I had uploaded new items to the library toggled it to be online and visible and yesterday it showed up on my website and now today when I go into the item is toggled off........This is an internal problem with the website hosting its self.. I use to use wordpress but figured doing it with square would be a lot stress...when in fact it is causing me much more.

can someone please fix the issue with the website it keeps taking items that I have toggled visible for the online store and turning them off. THIS IS SO FRUSTRATING  AND HURTING MY BUSINESS!!!!!!

 I am still having the same issue and its even worse just added new products switched the product to be visible on the website and it keeps getting TOGGLED OFF!
