Why am I getting this Weebly message?

Not sure where to post this, so please move it necessary...

 

I keep getting this message "Update Your Weebly Account Payment Info Immediately. Action Needed: Your subscription is at risk. Update your payment method now to avoid service disruption. "

 

I thought weebly was gone? Is this a scam or am I supposed to pay weebly and square now?

Hey @janjwoodables.  Weebly is not gone.  Square bought Weebly.  Depending on your particular domain/hosting, your payments still might be through Weebly, and it looks like your payment card information might need updating.  Your best bet will be to call customer support during regular business hours.  They can help you sort this out.

 

You can also go into your Weebly editor (if you are still using that and NOT the new Square Online experience).  There you can access your account billing information and find out what is going on.

 

I can tell you that I have a website entirely in the Square Online side of things and all of my billing is through Square.  I have another that was an old Weebly site, and is still using only Weebly tools.  For that one, my billing is still through Weebly.  There’s nothing nefarious or scammy here.  It’s just a little confusing, sometimes.

I thought I had a square only site - they're charging me annually for one so...
