When will the checkout page be customizable to streamline customer scheduled pickup times?

Has anyone else run into the Square Online checkout page being counter-intuitive regarding customers being able to schedule their own pickup times? I'm very frustrated that the checkout page cannot be edited at all.
I've activated the feature that allows customers to schedule their pick up time. Ideally, I would like this step to be mandatory and not have the autogenerated pickup time based on my settings to show at all. Or, at the very least, make the links on the checkout page clear for customers that they are able to schedule their pickup. Currently, it isn't indicated anywhere that pickups can be scheduled. What is the point of that feature if it's not clearly stated anywhere on the checkout page? A solution can be that the "Edit" button is changed to "Schedule your pickup".

Has anyone found a solution for this?

I definitely understand what you are saying and I do apologize for any frustration that this may have caused you or your business. At this time I do not have a timeline for when this may be adjusted or updated. In the meantime I would recommend posting this on our Ideate platform. As Ideate is a great place to post new ideas (Feature Requests) for other Sellers to comment on which can catch our product managers eyes and potentially implement. 

 

I also went ahead and send over your feedback to our corresponding teams and hopefully they can also influence some change. 

 

If any other Sellers have found out a workaround or have any helpful tips, please feel free to leave those suggestions in this thread!
