When will Sellers be Able to Further Customize Square Appointment Reminders?

The title of this thread has been edited by a Square Moderator from the original: When will we be able to give reminders 2 weeks prior to appointments and initiate texts

 

It would be so helpful for me to be able to remind my clients of their appointments 2 weeks (or even 1 week) prior to their appointments as they are booked 4-6 months out. I am noticing my clients are cancelling and rescheduling when it is only a 72 hour reminder. Now I have to manually text from my cell phone 2 weeks prior which is not convenient and the reason I use this app in the first place. I am also wondering when we will be able to initiate a text through the system as I believe they can in the States already and it would be nice to give me two week reminders there instead of having to use a different line. Thanks!

Hello @stouffvilledh, first off, welcome to the Square Community! 

 

I definitely understand your concern with this. I took a look and it does look like the farthest out for text and email reminders is 3 days.

 

At this point, I do not have a timeline on when or if this is to change, but what I would suggest is posting your idea as a Feature Request on our Ideate platform. Here Sellers are able to add ideas and improvements for Square products and tools that may be implemented. This would be a good first step to hopefully see change with this.
