When I try to sign into my square account, and use 2FA, neither the txt message nor phone call arriv

When I try to sign into my square account, and use 2FA, neither the txt message nor phone call arrive. In the message on screen, the last 4 digits of my phone number are correct, but the first 6 are shown as asterisks, so I cannot tell if my phone at Square is correct.

 

Note that this was working in the past

@fcwaud, apologies for the slow response on this. If you are looking to change the 2FA phone number on file, you will need to give our support number a call. 

 

Feel free to give them a call at 1-855 809-9000 between 9 am-6 pm EST Monday-Friday.

To check what 2-Step Factor phone number is currently connected to your Square account, please follow these few steps:

  1. Sign in to Square Dashboard and select Settings > Account & Settings > Personal information > Sign in & security.

  2. Under Two-step verification, select Manage two-step verification. 

  3. From here, you are able to view your current number on file.

We can't sign in because the txt/call from the 2FA doesn't arrive.
