it wants me to continue setting up my account and start my 30 day trial. I don't understand why I can't see my inventory and complete a sale.
@Kag1011 sounds like you may have accidentally created a second Square account using the same email address. Especially if you clicked a “Get Started” link instead of logging in directly.
If it were me, I’d try this:
Log out of the app completely
Open an incognito/private browser window (just to rule out any cache confusion)
Go to squareup.com/login and log in manually with your original email and password (not through any "Start a free trial" page)
If you’re still seeing the trial/setup screen, it’s likely you’ve logged into a duplicate account with no inventory tied to it. Double-check if you might have another email you’ve used with Square in the past—that original one is likely still linked to your active business.
