I recently refunded a person the correct amount of money. The balance in my account exceeds the refund amount. Normally when I initiate a refund, Square does the right thing by taking money out of my available balance in my square account, but on one particular transaction that happened over the weekend, Square decided to take money out of my linked bank account instead of from my square account even though I had sufficient money in both places.
I also noticed that the daily earnings at the time I made the refund was at a minus because that day I only initiated refunds and had no sales. So I don't know if the daily amount may have anything to do with them going at my bank.
So why does square take money out of the linked bank account when I have sufficient money in my square account? and if its due to some new setting that's recently added (like one where I tell square to check my square account before my bank account for money), how do I find it?
