Hi, I created a weebly account, as well as a square account with the same email address. I tried logging in, but I get an error saying "You may already have an account. Try login with email and password."
However, it simply loops me back to the sign-in page: https://www.weebly.com/app/front-door/signin#/.
I've tried resetting the password, clearing the cache, using other browsers, using private/incognito mode and nothing works.

I am experiencing this exact problem right now. I tried to reach out to support but have not received a response. The account is a brand new account with square I am considering closing now because it is not user friendly! Makes me worry what my customers may experience.

I'm really sorry to hear you are also having some login issues! Can you please let me know your website URL so I can see what is going on with the account/s? I believe this issue occurs when you have an older Weebly account that has an assigned username in addition to using the email address in the username field.
You will also want to make sure to select the box that says "login with Square" on the Weebly login page.

It is a new account with square and weebly. I have tried to get weebly to send me password if for some reason I was in the weebly system as you are suggesting through the forgot password function but nope does not respond. I do not recieve a response. I tried Login in with square and have tried login with email password as well as attempting to login in with google and they did not work either. I am a new client but am facing a bunch of errors like this makes the process very unfriendly. I would gladly give the url as you are requesting but as I cannot even get into weebly to investigate the account my email is tagged to in your system I do not even know what the heck it is!

For the password reset, if you did indeed sign up through Square, or merge your Weebly login to the Square login page, you will need to request the password reset through Square here. The Weebly page to reset the password will not work for your account.
Edit to add: Okay, @Dilemma I see what the issue is. Your email address is tied to a third party hosting company called Web Hosting Canada. Do you recall signing up with them 6 years ago? Because your email is tied up with this company you will not be able to use it to create a Square Online website. However, if you can log into the account and change your email with them, that would free it up to be used with Square/Weebly. If you can't do this from your end, then I recommend reaching out to the host directly for assistance. You can find their support page here. I also see they have some toll free numbers listed in the Contact Us dropdown in the top right corner of the page.

Weebly/Square is a nightmare. I have an account where I pay $144 a year which pays for phone support, but they are no help. I have been going in circles with them for a week. All I wanted was to reset my password! So frustrating! Run away from this website builder!!!!

I am also having the same issue. I created the weebly site less than 2 weeks ago. It is live. I paid to upgrade and register the domain name as well. www.getwhatwegive.com However, when I attempt to log in via weebly, it says I have a wrong username or password. I am, however, able to log in via Square. Can you help me fix this issue? I’d prefer if you emailed me directly at (email address redacted) Thank you.

This does sound off, but it's difficult to pinpoint what may be happening without looking at your account with you, which we aren't able to do via the Seller Community. Sorry to hijack this thread, but I'm having exactly the same issue too. I could not log into Weebly and am constantly taken to Square, saying my Login needs updating. Following either link (log in with my Square details doesn't work, AND creating a new Square account I'm told one is already linked).
I waited over a week to be contacted after I'd asked for help, gave up and phoned - waited 45 minutes to be answered and spent an age talking to a Customer Service person. Whilst on the phone I was suddenly able to access Weebly - the lady I was talking to was surprised as hadn't done anything.
After gaining access to Weebly and updating one of my sites, yesterday its happened again. Every time I try and log into Weebly I'm taken to Square which is useless.
I've tried to speak to someone and again nobody gets back to me. I've been a Weebly customer and pay for a Pro account for over 10 years and never had an issue ..... until Square took over.
Can somebody please sort this out as its becoming rather tiresome and expected better service for something I pay for.
Yes I can follow the link you supplied above but it just takes me back to the Contact page where I'm getting no response from anyone.

Can you first please confirm the URL for your website that you are trying to access in your Weebly account?
It's possible you may have two logins by mistake, but we should be able to confirm. Also, if both accounts are under the same email you will just need to sync the accounts by logging in through Square, but please hold off on that until I can confirm. 😊

No I don't have 2 log-ins - I logged in fine last week.
Every time I try and log into Weebly I'm taken to Square asking me to link my account. I have ages ago. Every time I then log into the screen I'm given, I'm taken to the next screen which says:
I can get onto Square if I use private browsing, and always get sent a Verification Code 🙄, which then takes me to Square dashboard - but my sites aren't here, they're on Weebly.
We have limited access to accounts from this page, but from what I can see, it does look like you have multiple accounts. The account you are logged into for this community page, for example, is different.
I know you mentioned that you had tried to reach out to support, but I definitely recommend trying once more because a rep will need to work with you to get the account properly synced. How were you reaching out to the team before? Can you try using the following link HERE. You will see an automated chat box, but if you type "speak with a rep" you should see an option for "online store" help or "ecom support". Either of those options should get you to a phone or chat rep.
