I've added several images to an item, plus various images to variations of that item. When someone clicks the dropdown menu to choose a variation, *all* images in the gallery show up for the item, not just the images associated only with that particular variation even though I have assigned images to the variation.
Customer selects dropdown menu for a variation and the entire gallery of images is displayed even when variation-specific images are assigned. So it becomes very confusing which variation the customer is ordering.
Is there a fix or workaround for this? Does this have to do with a setting somewhere?
Hey there @Lisa3002. So, in this case, a picture is worth thousands of words. Can you please post the URL of your website/shop, so I can noodle around? I want to be sure I fully understand the problem before I attempt to offer any possible solutions.
Actually, since this has been a problem I have removed all variations and list items individually. Most of my work is one of a kind. Any items with variations I have removed from the site until I can figure out a work around. Only the Monogram Tray on my site (the only one with variations I believe) will show the problem. When I view the website outside of the editor, and choose an item from the drop down menu, the images do not adjust to display only the images in the variation. If I am overlooking a display setting somewhere, please let me know, so I can make the adjustment.
