Unable to order category pages on online store

I have tried everything short of deleting the categories to reorder category listing on the side bar but it just wont stick please help.

Ashley thanks for the reply. Those are actually the steps I used. I was able to order items but not the pages themselves 😕

@A1gearllc are you trying to order the category pages in your navigation bar?

I was trying to reorder them on the left hand side of the category pages. I tried using multiple browsers etc. I found a work around though; in which I created new main categories and moved groups in the order I wanted them into these groups. In the end I got them to list in the order I wanted them to be listed.

Please tell me how to sort items by category and have them displayed in that order in checkout mode. I've searched and cannot find that option.
