Unable to add items since site visibility feature has been depracated

Hello, I have been using square for over 2 years now in order to sell my products via a square website. The website is linked to my square library where I upload my products. Recently site visibility has been deprecated. Now whenever I add an item, nothing happens. I have my site selected under channels. And any other configuration mentioned on the documentation is correct. However, the items never appear. I have had to have a square agent upload two items to my site this week.

 

This is incredibly frustrating because I change my available items every week. I also only sell my products online so this puts my sales at risk. 

 

I was on the square support for 3 hours yesterday, transferred 5 times and yet no one can seem to figure out how to fix this. 

 

What is the recommended solution for to move forward and get this fixed?

It seems that someone at square "updated" the Square Online Item Visibility feature and BROKE IT. I spent hours with support and got no help, they didn't even seem to know what I was trying to explain to them (over and over again).

It used to list three options under Square Online Item Visibility --> unavailable or visible or hidden.
When you export your entire inventory database (which you should for backup!) it still lists these 3 options under that header.

But currently (as of last week) you can no longer filter using these options under Square Online Item Visibility.

Now when you try to filter -->
It only lists "Square Online listing status" as the closest (most similar) filter option with Unlisted or Listed as the only two options available. This does not work properly and does not match up with what the database has in that column. *There is no database column for square online listing status.

I bet this has something to do with your issue. If only we could get some help from Square support!! They really seem totally clueless and have "no notes" to help them to HELP UP run our businesses. There is nothing in the square feature updates list that references this change... which is a major problem!

I keep hoping that someone will get through to the Square techs and get this issue sorted out. That one morning we will come into work and it will just be WORKING again! ๐Ÿ˜ž It has caused us a lot of lost time and problems trying to create new workflows to achieve the same result as was previously an easy thing!
