Unable to Delete Square Online site

The title of this thread has been edited from the original: Deleting Extra Stores.

I can't seem to delete the extra stores on my dashboard.  It has the option on the bottom right corner, however it just says contact support, who have told me it's not possible.   Does anyone have a solution?

Based on the information you've shared, it sounds like you're encountering one of the limitations of our system. There are certain instances where our system doesn't allow website deletion due to technical limitations. This is why you're seeing the "contact support" message, and why support confirmed that deletion isn't possible in your specific case.


In these cases, our Support team is correct that deletion isn't possible through standard means. However, you do have a couple of options:

Leave Sites Unpublished

- For sites you don't want to use, you can unpublish them so they're not visible to customers.
- To do so, sign in to your Square Dashboard and go to Online > Online Store > Website > Site Preferences > Unpublish.


Start Fresh

- If you really need a clean slate, you can create a brand new Square account with a different email address that hasn't been used on any previous Square accounts before.
