I'm just in the process of setting up my store (in the uk)
I've added some items
as soon as I (or anyone else) adds to cart a message appears to say that the cart is empty.
I've tried it on a mobile device and on a desktop.
Any ideas please

It looks like the domain mcgibdesigns.co.uk is not connected to your Square Online site, which is why it's not functioning properly when you try to use it through that link.
The assigned URL for this site is mcgib-designs.square.site. That's why the site functions properly when you go to mcgib-designs.square.site. In order for mcgibdesigns.co.uk, to function properly, you'll need to connect that domain to your Square Online site.
