Transferring domain out of square but can't change DSN info in square to connect to another site

I bought my domain in square and have started the transfer to Shopify but I'm supposed to change the DSN and everything so that it links to the new site but it won't allow me to make any changes. Any help would be appreciated.

I'm sorry to hear you're experiencing issues with your domain. 

Unfortunately, once a domain has been unlocked and the transfer process has been initiated, DNS settings cannot be edited. 

The transfer process can take 7-10 business days, and once completed, you'll be able to update your DNS settings with your new registrar.
