Third Level Categories not showing on side navigation

Why are third level categories (sub-subcategories) not showing on the side navigation anymore?  I'm fairly certain it used to, so what happened?

Also, it would be really helpful if a category could show both subcategories AND items in the item list.

I don't recall coming across a site that displayed the navigation this way, but I can try reaching out to the teams to see if this was removed, or possibly a bug. Can you post a link to your website so we can take a look? 

Do you still have sub-categories setup on the backend that are no longer displaying?

Yes, sub-subcategories are still set up. Examples are under Games>RPG, and Accessories>Pins.

This may be a bug, but first I suggest trying to move one of your sub-sub categories out of the list, then add it back. Republish the website, then check the live site to see if it is showing up again. 

If that does not help, please reach out to our support team directly. Something definitely seems off on the live page, and a rep will be able to escalate this to the advanced support team for further research.
