Square Reader Docking System

I have an old Square Docking system. I have upgraded so I don't need it anymore. I would like to give it to a friend for their business, but I don't know if my personal information is programed into the unit or is it only when my phone is logged into my account?

Thank you for reaching out, your data is not stored on the dock or any hardware. You can use your hardware on more than one account. Please let me know if you have any other questions.

Square devices are "dumb" devices meaning that all the data is in the app so even if you gave them a square stand with an iPad in it as long as you logged out of the app your data is no longer there.  Readers are the same they only have the info needed to work when connected to a device like your phone or iPad.
