Square Online not displaying correct pricing

Square online is displaying prices that is not assigned to a site. We use a "Wholesale" location for B2B and that location is not assigned to our website but it is still showing a range from low to high on our website. This wasn't a case before, we started to have this issue about alittle over a month ago out of no where. Has anyone have this same issue? If the location isn't assigned to a website and it is still displaying a price defeats the purpose.

Our settings for this B2B location is set to the following:

Account & Settings > My Business > Locations > Business location is set to "Active"

Account & Settings > Fulfillment Methods > Online Pickup & Delivery > Business location is set to:
Site Visibility: 0 sites
Pick Up: Off
Delivery: Off

with these settings on our website it still shows:

Even if we do the following:

1. If we "deactivate" the location, only some items on our website will remove the pricing while others will still show.

2. After deactivating the location, under Account & Settings > Fulfillment Methods > Online Pickup & Delivery. The location still remains on that screen.

The only way around hiding our B2B pricing currently is creating a dummy location and setting the override pricing to 0.01.

We have been in contact with Square Support and Application Support Engineer and it has gone no where. It has been over a month with no progress and I have sent a few messages to Application Support Engineer and no new updates on this matter. I feel that this issue is not really been looked at or worked on since it's been taking over a month. So here I am asking the community if anyone has ran into the same problem and is there a way to fix this?

If there are any community mods here that can provide an update on the case it would be much appericated as well.

Just a heads-up for anyone running into the same issue: Square Support confirmed this is now the expected behavior.

To the Square team and community mods — this change kind of defeats the purpose of the "Site Visibility" setting and the ability to offer pricing that's meant to stay behind the scenes. A lot of businesses rely on separate pricing for retail and B2B customers, and this update makes that much harder to manage.

We get that updates are part of staying current in the e-commerce space. But at the end of the day, Square’s growth is tied to the success of the businesses that use it. It’d go a long way to really listen to your users and grow alongside them—otherwise, there’s a real risk of falling behind, like we've seen with companies that stopped adapting to what their customers actually needed.

Thanks for following up and for providing those helpful screenshots.

I’ve checked in with our engineering team regarding this behavior, and they've confirmed that it's currently working as designed. While I understand this may differ from how things previously functioned, this is now the expected behavior based on recent updates to how location-based pricing and site visibility interact.

That said, I completely understand how this impacts your experience, and I’ve passed your feedback along to the appropriate team. While there are no changes planned at this time, it may be considered for review in future updates. I just want to be transparent in letting you know that there’s no current plan for adjustment as of now.

If there’s anything else I can assist with, feel free to let me know—I’m happy to help.

Thanks so much for sharing this @Provision —I completely understand where you’re coming from. I know how important the “Site Visibility” setting and flexible pricing are for managing separate experiences for retail and B2B customers. It’s frustrating when a change makes that harder to maintain.

For now, I’d recommend submitting this as a feature request on our Ideate Board, so the team can track and prioritize it alongside similar feedback.

I really appreciate you taking the time to speak up—your insights are valuable and help us advocate for improvements that better support the way you run your business. If you need anything else, please don’t hesitate to reach out.
