Square Online cropping secondary photos?

Hello!

I feel like this is a recent change because I don't remember having issues with this in the past, but recently a customer messaged me about the cropping of images when using my online shop.

I made a test item so you can see what I am talking about: https://splitgillstudio.square.site/product/testthis/108

When looking at the square item page, the images look fine as well: Screenshot 2023-04-19 125012.jpg

But once I move over to square online, you can see they are cropped.

I am fine uploading the first image as a square, but the images that aren't the main image should be able to show the full view.  It's ridiculous to have to crop everything I sell to a 1:1 ratio when many of the things are portrait or landscape.

Am I just missing a setting?  Is there any way to work around this issue without having to manually re-upload every single thing that isn't 1:1?

Thanks in advance for your assistance!

HI @SplitGIllStudio.  Try this.  Edit your site and first go to your item list.  Scroll down until you see Item View and select that.  Look for Image Fit.  It is probably set to Crop.  Change that to scale, save and publish. That should fix your issue.

You’ll also have to go to one of your product pages (any one, since a change to one changes all).  Click on Item Details and look for Image Fit again, do the same thing, save and publish.

I believe that will fix your issue.

I meant to reply ages ago but THANK YOU!  I'm not sure how I missed that earlier - it's exactly what I was trying to find!
