I've been using square since about 2016 for my gourmet cookie bakery business. I have only 3 items of baked goods that I'm selling to my customers. Started using SquareUp's online sales website to incorporate "order ahead" purchases for my customers who don't like to wait. Recently, the "Out of Stock" notification is showing and doesn't allow them to order. I've changed the setting on the 'online store' page to not track stock, but there's no change. I don't think I should be required to purchase any plan at this point - simple click and purchase interface. What am I doing wrong?
@greg408 check your item in your online catalog under your regular square dashboard and make sure the item is not "marked sold out"
There is a newer setting that when stock tracking is turned off that you can in the point of sale or online dashboard mark an item as sold out. This could still be checked on if you disable stock tracking.
