Square Online Orders stopped syncing to Shippo

Hello, my Square online orders have suddenly stopped syncing with my Shippo account.

 

When I access Shippo I don't see any of my new orders, and when I try creating a shipping label through Square I receive an error. 

 

This seems to have started ever since the Square Online orders page began moving to “Square Orders”. 

I have tried disconnecting Square and Shippo from each other on both ends, and the problem still persists. 

Everything else that is linked to my Shippo is synced and I have no issues manually creating labels. It is specifically just Square that I am having this issue with.

 

Is there a solution to fix this.

Do you typically create your labels through the Shippo dashboard? I know the new Orders page through the Square dashboard is synced directly to Shippo, and should allow you to create your labels on Square's side. 

 

I have not heard of the orders no longer syncing to Shippo directly, though. For this particular issue I recommend reaching out to the support team so that a rep can verify any issues with the advanced support team. If they do happen to find a bug, they will be able to escalate a ticket to engineering for you.

Typically yes, I create my shipping labels through the Shippo Dashboard.

I have tried the new Square Orders page (before it stopped working), but the shipping rates were significantly higher than the rates I see on my shippo dashboard for some reason.

Oh, that's interesting, @Pokemart! I thought we had pretty good rates through our Square merchant account. Do you have your own shipping account with negotiated rates, or do you use the Shippo account.

 

Please keep us posted regarding the syncing issue. Hopefully this is something that will be resolved quickly!

UPDATE:

 

It has been a month and it is still not working, so I have manually been filling in order info on my Shippo account.

I have contacted Shippo and they have advised me that the issue is from Square's end - something is preventing the integration, and is not allowing them to collect info for my orders.

 

At this point, I am looking into moving my website to another platform like Shopify and starting fresh. It is better than being given the run around, since no one at Square wants to look into my issue and solve it. 

 

Square support did nothing but ask me to provide screenshots - what am I supposed to screenshot if my orders are not appearing on Shippo? This is the equivalent of a delivery company saying to show proof that an order never arrived. Such a joke.

They then proceeded to tell me there is nothing they can do after wasting my time, and told me to contact Shippo. 

 

 

To answer your question also, no I do not have negotiated rates, I use the Shippo account rates. 

 

The Square built in shipping option still doesn't work either. It just remains stuck on the below screen:
