Square Online: Can you require minimum quantity for purchase?

You would think Square would already have this feature  but really although Square is great in many things they are so primitive & behind in other very simple things. We would most likely  not use their Online store.

We recently launched item quantity maximums, and item quantity minimums is on the way! I unfortunately do not have an exact ETA, but the product teams are definitely aware of how important this feature would be for many of our sellers, and are working to bring this feature to the item setup. 

In the meantime, the only thing I can suggest is pre-determined amounts of what you would allow. ex; 6 scones, or a dozen rolls. You can also use the modifiers on the items  to provide an option to add individual items if you do not want people "stuck" only ordering in multiples of 6, 10, 12 etc. 

I have been keeping an eye out for updates on order minimums, and I will make sure to update the threads here once I have more information on an ETA.

Looking soooooo forward to the minimum order quantity to be done soon I have held off launching drop off services because of the confusion but built it anyway hoping that this will finally get done as you stated (topic goes back to 2016).

Yes 1 Billion in stock buy backs to enrich the board and executives yet they have many features they could spend 1/10000 of that on that people have been asking for years.  I have to deal with this issue with clients all the time that and the 3.3% on Invoices now I am phasing out of this platform ...

POS has gone down like 3 times this year, but it's ok everyone, they've added AI to their Marketing subscription. 😒 Not to even mention the moving of features on subscriptions to setup higher tier subscription fees.

Please add this feature! I would think item minimums would be helpful to way more businesses than item maximums. It's odd Square implemented them backwards.

Good luck they have been talking about adding this since 2016 ... but hey no worries they announced more stock buy backs vs improving their platform ... buy Square building my own cart on my website done with this!

I have gave up waiting and just tell people there is a $5 minimum, but Square fees for lower amounts make the processing fees not worth it for lower amounts.

I'm in ecommerce store and all of my items are small ticket items, I must sell in packs. 

This lack of moq feature makes me have to list each pack as its own item. 

So I desperately need square to implement moqs and intervals

What if you would create your Own packs of an Item to sell by.  Square has a Feature called Sell by Units.  By doing this you could have a Package of 5 items or 10 items whatever quantity you sell.  These Packs can have a SKU and a Price for the Pack of X Quantity.  I just never tried selling by a Pack of 12 Tapers through Square Online.   I have done this with my retail store though.   The only Catch here is that it would have to be the same item and not mix and match.

Because I cant only sell by the increment of that unit. 

So to your example, let's say I'm ok bundling by packs of 5. 

I can't sell less than 40 pieces per purchase (8 packs of 5)

So I still need an option to set an moq of 8 packs, and then allow to add additional packs of 5
