Square Loans 2023 under review?

Hey all! I’m on my 10th loan with square- and currently at 72%. All good standing and growth through the years of my business.
I have read in threads about seeing your account go under review- and am curious where you see it when that happens? Also- do offers seem to come on certain days/times? I understand there’s not a certain percentage guaranteed- and it varies in many ways- Hoping for another square loan soon- they have been a valuable tool for so many of us! Thanks in advance 🙂

Hi @Hairbyshawndell.  Accounts go under review for all sorts of things, and I doubt there is a comprehensive list.  Sometimes it is because Visa/MC/etc request it.  Sometimes it is because a customer or customer’s card-issuing bank requests information about a transaction or dispute or something like that.  Sometimes it happens because of unusual activity on our accounts — things like an unusually large transaction.  And sometimes they just randomly review accounts, according to their contracts with Visa/MC/etc.

Often you don’t see it when it happens.  If Square needs information, they will let you know.  If they find something suspicious or concerning, they will let you know.  If they find something that is a violation of their terms they could do more than let you know.  But, usually, the process happens quietly behind the scenes unless Square needs to communicate with you.  This is normal.

To your other questions, offers seem to come on all days, Monday through Friday (business days).  And I don’t know that I’ve ever seen a pattern to offers.

Good luck!
