I understand that I can't convert my original Weebly site (with drag and drop editor) to a Square one. But can I still control and make changes to my Weebly site? I have no need for online commerce, I am just following through with whatever procedure is necessary to keep using my Weebly site.
Hi @JDG1. When you sign into your Square account and go to Online > Edit site, it will detect that you are a Weebly site owner and redirect you to weebly.com to edit your web site contents. Besides my Square Online site for my ice cream shop, I also have a web site for a small residential property that I own which we use Weebly for. It works exactly as Weebly, with the extra step of having to first sign into my new Square account. You shouldn’t have anything else to do after you create your Square account.
Let me know if you have any other questions.
HI Chip, thanks for the quick response.
Unfortunately, that's not what's happening. I log in, click "edit site," and it just wants me to start building a new Square site. I've clicked just about every button on the page and can't find any reference to Weebly or somewhere I could toggle over to that site.
And, to be clear, "edit site" is a standalone option. There is nothing under the "Online" menu with similar wording.
You should have received an email months ago about doing that.
Sorry. Ignore that previous post.
Ok… let’s see. You had an old Weebly web site, correct? Did you create a new Square login that connected to that old account?
