Setting up online instagram shopping problems

I am unable to copy and paste the on line shopping link to my instagram page. It seems very confusing and keeps going back to Facebook requirements etc. The square site page is active and customers could shop on line and go to the check out- but I am don't understand how they can access the site from Instagram.
