Selling an item individually in-store, but in batches online

Hi Community,

I run a bakery with a retail shop, and I also sell wholesale. Our wholesale ordering platform uses Square Online.

The retail customers who come to our shop buy croissants individually, but the wholesale clients purchase croissants in batches of six.

Is there a way to configure this online?
My current solution is to have separate "Retail croissant" and "Wholesale Croissant" items in our library--but this creates obvious extra work when it comes time to pull reports.

I would love to configure the online platform where clicking the "+" button will add 6 to the card instead of adding 1

Does this feature exist currently? Any solutions?

Hi Honeycombbread,

I don't think there's a feature or work around to do what you have in mind other than having two different items setup - one for singles and one for 1/2 dozen.   I'm assuming that your prices for Retail and Wholesale are different so basically although it's the same product, you would need to treat them as separate items.  Perhaps another volunteer Community Member has some thoughts.  Square has a Developer Forum so you may want to ask there because it may take someone to come up with some custom solution.

After doing some digging, I also can't find a solution other than having separate items.

My wholesale customers use a discount code to achieve their discounted rate; but I was hoping to have a more unified item library and avoid creating multiple items to essentially sell the same product.
